EZPEP is built so that client information is not stored on our servers, in databases, or on devices we control. Identity details, trust particulars and document photographs exist only for the time it takes to fill a form, take payment, and produce a report in your current browser session.

Photographs taken on a mobile device are sent once to extract printed fields and are then discarded. They are not filed, backed up, or used to train a model by us.

Firm details (industry, trading name, ABN, contact name, telephone and email) may be remembered in your own browser so a returning user does not re-type them. After payment, a usage notice containing those firm details only — never the client’s name, address, date of birth, identity numbers or beneficial owners — is prepared for the site owner.

Open-source screening is performed by sending the client particulars you enter to the screening model for that check. Trust look-ups use the public Australian Business Register. When a live Document Verification Service gateway is connected, the identity fields needed for a match are sent to that gateway for that check only. That processing is not storage by EZPEP.

You download a 7-year record pack (PDF and JSON) for your matter file. We do not keep a copy. You should only submit information you are authorised to use for your professional AML/CTF obligations.
